RELAXER

A relaxer is the opposite of a perm (curls straight hair). It is a chemical treatment designed to rearrange the structure of curly hair into a straighter or smoother form.

BRAIDS AND NATURAL

Braids and natural styles have always played a significant role in grooming and beauty practices. They have become more mainstream and are considered by some, convenient hairstyles. Everywhere you turn these days, there's a twist, a braid, a lock or an afro puff.

 While the origins of braiding and natural hairstyling are rooted in African- American heritage, people of all ethnicities are appreciating it's beauty and versatility. Braids and natural hairstyling have brought a new and diverse approach to hair care. They can be funky and hot at the same time, elegant yet simple or really elaborate.

 

EXTENSION/WIGS

Extensions and wigs are fun and exciting ways of changing up your look. They are an increasingly popular salon service for clients who are are looking for something different or clients who are suffering from hair loss. They are mostly used to add length, color, volume or texture. 

There are different types of extensions (bonding, sewing, fusion, clip-ons, braiding etc.) that you can use to revamp your style. In order to achieve a natural look, it is crucial to blend the client's hair with the extensions used. We provide beautifully blended hair extensions for every hair type.

KERATIN  

Keratin treatment eradicates unsightly frizz and maximizes shine, whilst nourishing and boosting condition. Your hair is always left feeling soft and smooth with stunning results, which are visible immediately after the treatment. Unmanageable hair nightmares are now a thing of the past!

 

PERMANENT WAVING

Permanent waving, or perm as we all call it, is a chemical texture service used to add waves or curls to straight hair. 

It is a two part process. The first part of any perm is the physical change in which the hair is wrapped on perm rods. The second part involves chemical changes caused by using permanent waving solution and neutralizer.

The size of the rod determines the size of the curl. The rods comes in a variety of shapes and sizes and can be combined with different wrapping methods to provide different styling options.

HAIRCUT

We offer classic and trendy cuts to suit all face shapes. 

Getting regular trims helps to get rid of dry, damaged and split ends which can work their way up the shaft of your hair causing even more damage. A trim is defined as removing ¼ to ½ inch of hair, nothing more. If your stylist insists on cutting off inches of hair every time you go in for a visit, your hair won't get longer. Visit us at Norkobes Beauty where you will find professionals who understands exactly how much hair you need removed. Depending on the chemicals you have in your hair as well as your daily routine, you may need a trim anywhere from every six weeks to six months. The better you care for your hair on a day-to-day basis, the less often you'll need trims.
